The positive side of unrest

So much has been made of the riots in London. The BBC has hounded politicians and police officers, almost blaming them for the unrest. But the news footage clearly shows people looting and wrecking small local businesses that have no power to effect societal change, but can destroy communities.

Sadly, no network seems to have noticed the thousands who have turned out to clean up the mess these thugs have left. May this community spirit continue after the riots stop, so that we never need to return to this again.
